Biography
Andi Foster is a licensed Physician Assistant. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Old Dominion University in 1997 and received her Master's degree as a physician assistant from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2001. She has worked with Virginia Oncology as a PA-C since her graduation in 2001. Andi works alongside Dr. Michael Lee with a special focus on lung cancer, breast cancer, and GI stromal tumors, among other cancers. When she is not working alongside Dr. Lee, she is running our in-house bone marrow clinic.
Andi is a sub-investigator for several different clinical trials run through Virginia Oncology, including the Persist Trial. She has done several educational talks on the treatment of GI stromal tumors. She is a member of the Association of Physician Assistants in Oncology, the Virginia Association of Physician Assistants, and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
When Andi is not at the office, you can usually find her at the soccer fields with her two boys.
