Biography

Dr. Saman is board certified in Medical Oncology, Hematology and Internal Medicine.  He received his Medical Doctor degree from University of Damascus School of Medicine. His Internal Medicine Residency was completed at University of Missouri Health Sciences Center, Columbia, Missouri. Dr. Saman completed his Hematology/Oncology Fellowship at University of South Florida’s H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center, Tampa, Florida, where he served as Chief Fellow of the Hematology/Oncology Training Program.

Dr. Saman remains a proponent of academics and research. Earlier in his career he completed in-depth studies of Acute Myelogenous Leukemia and S-Nitroso-Hemoglobin. During his free time, Dr. Saman enjoys spending quality time with his wife and children. His hobbies include biking, running, swimming and is an avid wine collector.
