What to Expect if You've Been Referred to a VOA Gynecologic Oncologist

Dr. Robert Squatrito with Virginia Oncology Associates explains what to expect if you were referred to a gynecologic oncologist. For women who have not received a cancer diagnosis, your doctor would like to have an evaluation to see if cancer is present.

If you have been diagnosed with a gynecologic cancer including ovarian cancer, cervical cancer, endometrial cancer, or another female organ cancer, Dr. Squatrito explains what to expect next.

Our gynecologic oncology team will take time to understand your diagnosis, stage, overall health condition, and future plans for growing your family, to help determine the best path forward.
