Biography
Elli is a board-certified Physician Assistant who grew up in Virginia Beach and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from James Madison University. After deciding to become a Physician Assistant, she spent time working in and learning from the community of Virginia Beach by running EMS with the VB Volunteer Rescue Squad, working as an ED Tech at Sentara Leigh Emergency Department, and medical scribing at a local urgent care. She went on to get her Master of Medical Science Degree at Yale University Physician Associate Program in New Haven, CT, graduating in 2020.
Before joining VOA, Elli spent three and a half years in Cardiac Surgery and Critical Care at Sentara Heart Hospital. She is now looking forward to serving the Virginia Beach community further by starting the inpatient hematology/oncology Advance Practice Provider program at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital.
In her free time, Elli enjoys yoga, making bread, riding around the Oceanfront on her E-bike with her husband, and making forts for her three cats.
