Biography
Emily Grace is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner who started her training at Campbell University in Buies Creek, NC, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. While working as a Critical Care nurse, she went on to graduate summa cum laude from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA with a Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration. As a nurse in Internal Medicine and Critical Care Medicine, she was nominated and recognized for her dedication and excellence in clinical care and compassion.
Emily Grace recognized her calling to provide care for the hematology/oncology patient population as she watched and cared for multiple family members as they faced the fight against cancer. She considers it a privilege to be an advocate for her patients as they navigate a life-altering diagnosis. She is focused on providing evidence-based care while remaining patient-centered. She believes the trust and rapport built in the provider-patient relationship are vital in making informed decisions about one’s health and treatment journey.
When not in the office, Emily Grace enjoys quality time with those she loves. She enjoys time in the sun whether at the beach or playing pickleball, sharing her love of music through violin and piano, and traveling to exciting places around the world. Another important aspect of her life is serving the underserved. She provides care in free clinics, both locally and internationally, in areas that lack access to healthcare. She reflects frequently on the quote by Charles Dickens, “No one is useless in this world who lightens the burdens of another.”
