Biography

Erik Richardson is a board-certified physician assistant who graduated Summa Cum Laude from Slippery Rock University in 2020 with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. Upon graduation, he matriculated into Slippery Rock’s Physician Assistant program, which he completed in May of 2022. Following graduation, he relocated to Virginia to join Virginia Oncology Associates as their first primarily inpatient APP practicing at Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, Virginia.

Prior to PA school, Erik worked as a Certified Nurse Aide during his time in his undergraduate studies at a local Nursing Home where he learned the fundamentals of medicine at its most basic levels. He also held tutoring sessions on weekdays for various undergraduate classes, including botany, general chemistry, and principles of biology.

In his free time, Erik enjoys watching sports, fitness, reading, and spending time with his high school sweetheart, Taylor.
