Biography

Kelli Kneisel is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who works with patients in the hospital setting. She loves the fast-paced environment of working within a hospital and the ability to partner with different doctors and nursing staff throughout the day. She has a desire to connect with her patients and their families to keep them informed of their options and treatment plans. 
 
Kelli's desire to become a nurse started at a young age, inspired by her grandmother. She worked as a cardiac surgery ICU nurse before pursuing her education at James Madison University to become a Nurse Practitioner in 2014. She worked in Gastroenterology as an inpatient nurse practitioner before joining Virginia Oncology Associates in 2024. Kelli works as an inpatient Advanced Practice Provider at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
 
She lives in Chesapeake with her husband and three kids who keep her busy with various activities. She enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle which includes hiking, skiing, and working out. She loves traveling and exploring different cuisines, restaurants, and coffee shops during her travels, and she also has a love for fashion and shopping.
