Biography

Kim has been practicing in hematology and oncology since she graduated from the nurse practitioner program at VCU. She joined Virginia Oncology Associates in April 2000. Prior to working in hematology and oncology, Kim worked as a registered nurse at Riverside Regional Medical Center in the coronary care unit and emergency department.

Kim has undergone additional training in genetics for hereditary cancer syndromes. She completed the Intensive Course and Cancer Risk Assessment through the City of Hope in Duarte,
California. She enjoys genetic counseling and testing individuals and families who are at elevated risk of cancer.

When Kim is not working, she enjoys spending time with family and friends. You can typically find her at home, the gym, church, or the beach.
