Biography
Kristen Taylor is a licensed Physician Assistant. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Cognitive Science with a concentration in Neuroscience from The University of Virginia in 2013. She received her Master’s Degree as a surgical assistant from Eastern Virginia Medical School in 2015. As a surgical assistant, she gained valuable surgical skills while in the operating room. She went on to receive her second Master’s Degree as a Physician Assistant from Eastern Virginia Medical School in 2020 and joined Virginia Oncology Associates upon matriculation. Kristen works alongside Dr. Michael McCollum with a special focus on gynecologic oncology. She specializes in DaVinci Robotic-Assisted surgery and functions in both the clinic and surgical settings.
Outside of practicing medicine, Kristen enjoys spending time with her family and friends, her three bulldogs, and traveling the world.
