Biography
Dr. Jared Kobulnicky is a board-certified hematologist and medical oncologist dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered cancer care. He earned his medical degree and completed both his Internal Medicine residency and Hematology and Oncology fellowship at the Medical College of Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth University.
Dr. Kobulnicky is actively engaged in clinical research, with work presented at national meetings including the American Society of Hematology and the American Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation. His research has been published in respected peer-reviewed journals such as Leukemia & Lymphoma, Frontiers in Immunology, and Biology of Blood and Marrow Transplantation. In recognition of his academic excellence, he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society in 2021 and received the Arthur P. Gold Award for his humanistic and compassionate approach to patient care.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Kobulnicky serves as an Assistant Professor of Hematology and Oncology at Eastern Virginia Medical School. He has been recognized by his peers as a Coastal Virginia Magazine Top Doc for six consecutive years.
Dr. Kobulnicky’s clinical interests include hematologic malignancies such as leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma, as well as cancers of the breast, lung, and head and neck.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, cycling, and gardening. A strong advocate for cancer research and individualized care, Dr. Kobulnicky is proud to serve and looks forward to providing exceptional cancer care to the Hampton Roads community.
