Biography
Dr. Michael Danso earned his medical degree from the University of London, Royal Free and University College Hospital School of Medicine. He completed his residency training at Pennsylvania Hospital (University of Pennsylvania Health System). He went on to complete a fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York where he served as Chief Fellow. He is board certificated in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology.
Dr. Danso has broad expertise in the management of oncologic and hematologic conditions with a special interest in Breast and Gastrointestinal malignancies. He actively participates in the design and conduct of clinical trials and has been the primary investigator in a number of national trials. Dr. Danso is an active member of the British Medical Association, American Medical Association, as well as American College of Physicians, American Association of Research, American Society of Hematology and American Society of Clinical Oncology. He has authored, co-authored, research articles and edited a text book in oncology named "Hematology and Oncology Pearls."
