Dr. Kevin Sing was born and raised in Northern Virginia. He attended the University of Virginia and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in biology and economics. He earned his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, then completed his internal medicine residency and hematology/oncology fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond.

Before returning to Virginia and joining VOA, Dr. Sing practiced in New York City, treating patients with various hematological disorders and cancers. Also, during his time in NYC he worked with and participated in tumor boards with leading experts.

Dr. Sing has presented research at national oncology conferences and is a member of the American Society of Hematology (ASH) and the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO).

Cancer is very often a devastating, life-altering diagnosis for both the patients and their loved ones. Dr. Sing works with each patient to help them understand the diagnosis and treatment options and to find the best approach.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family, reading, and traveling. Dr. Sing is fluent in both Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese.
